Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the declined 1.69%.
The best performers of the session on the were Orsted A/S (CSE:), which rose 5.34% or 14.20 points to trade at 280.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:) added 2.35% or 10.80 points to end at 470.00 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:) was up 2.18% or 23.00 points to 1,076.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CSE:), which fell 6.87% or 53.00 points to trade at 718.00 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:) declined 2.77% or 19.80 points to end at 695.50 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:) was down 2.10% or 3.64 points to 169.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 55 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.34% or 1.01 to $76.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.52% or 1.21 to hit $80.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.50% or 9.75 to trade at $1,967.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.02% to 6.96, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 105.35.
