Investing.com – France stocks were mixed after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Paris, the lost 0.37%, while the index added 0.19%.

The best performers of the session on the were Worldline SA (EPA:), which rose 13.11% or 1.23 points to trade at 10.65 at the close. Meanwhile, STMicroelectronics NV (EPA:) added 4.93% or 1.83 points to end at 38.96 and Carrefour SA (EPA:) was up 4.74% or 0.74 points to 16.35 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Teleperformance SE (EPA:), which fell 8.83% or 9.60 points to trade at 99.10 at the close. BNP Paribas SA (EPA:) declined 2.60% or 1.46 points to end at 54.72 and Kering SA (EPA:) was down 2.26% or 8.90 points to 384.40.

The top performers on the SBF 120 were Worldline SA (EPA:) which rose 13.11% to 10.65, Nexity (EPA:) which was up 11.27% to settle at 12.64 and Atos SE (EPA:) which gained 10.11% to close at 5.73.

The worst performers were Compagnie Plastic Omnium SE (EPA:) which was down 22.82% to 10.11 in late trade, Clariane SE (EPA:) which lost 19.53% to settle at 3.37 and Teleperformance SE (EPA:) which was down 8.83% to 99.10 at the close.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 284 to 224 and 102 ended unchanged.

Shares in Teleperformance SE (EPA:) fell to 5-year lows; falling 8.83% or 9.60 to 99.10. Shares in Kering SA (EPA:) fell to 3-years lows; down 2.26% or 8.90 to 384.40. Shares in Compagnie Plastic Omnium SE (EPA:) fell to 5-year lows; losing 22.82% or 2.99 to 10.11. Shares in Clariane SE (EPA:) fell to all time lows; falling 19.53% or 0.82 to 3.37. Shares in Teleperformance SE (EPA:) fell to 5-year lows; down 8.83% or 9.60 to 99.10.

The , which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0.00% to 18.96 a new 52-week high.

Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.03% or 0.50 to $1,994.40 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 1.99% or 1.70 to hit $83.69 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 1.91% or 1.72 to trade at $88.41 a barrel.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.27% to 1.05, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.29% to 0.87.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 106.66.
