Advisor Group, a network of independent broker-dealers, has hired Dynasty Financial Partners co-founder Ed Swenson to build a business serving the needs of registered investment advisors.
The hire comes less than two months after Advisor Group unveiled plans to consolidate its eight broker-dealers into one and adopt a single brand. As part of that reorganization, the company said it wants to focus on three channels: independent, RIA solutions, and financial institutions.
